A Merry March

This month has been a whirlwind of activity of us here at Stephanie Art & Design! In addition to creating these custom St. Patrick’s Day ghosties pictured above, here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to these past couple of weeks:

Moth Madness

I recently reached 14k followers on Instagram, so I decided to host a Draw This in Your Style challenge with a fun twist. I invited people to redraw this painting in their own style, but they were welcome to switch out the moth with their favorite species. Although luna moths are my favorite, I wanted to switch things up by illustrating a close second: the Chinese Moon Moth. There’s also no deadline, so feel free to join the fun whenever you’d like!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated so far! You can see all of the #saddtiys14k entries by clicking here.

For Peace

The events taking place in Ukraine are harrowing. To help fundraise, I created these fig prints. It features an olive branch, which is often a symbol of peace, and that’s something we need now more than ever.

75% of the proceeds was donated to USA for UNHCR, which provides support for Ukrainian refugees who have fled to avoid violence. The other 25% was for shipping, fees, and material costs. We ended up raising over $130 for this cause, but you can still continue to donate directly to them. Thank you to everyone who ordered, and please continue to pray for Ukraine!

“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.”
Habakkuk 3:17-18

What’s Next?

I have so much planned for the future, and I cannot wait to show you my upcoming projects! I also have a HUGE announcement coming soon, so stay tuned to see what it is! A few weeks ago, I picked up my final pieces from my latest pottery class, and I’m so excited with how they turned out. It was also fun to be in the studio with my husband for a few weeks. I’m planning a Prints & Pots update on April 8th at noon EST, so if you missed out on the fig prints or want a piece of handmade ceramics, mark your calendars!
