Big News!

Hi everyone! So much has happened in the past few months, but I cannot wait to share to something that’s coming in the future. I am so excited to announce some of the biggest news I will probably ever share in regards to my journey in the world of art: I am writing a book!

This book is a passion project of mine, a magnum opus of sorts. While it’s nowhere near done, I’ve been planning for years now! It will be similar to a nature compendium or field guide, with specimens researched & illustrated by yours truly. I’ve been inspired by vintage botanical posters, and wanted to create a series of them! I figured it would be a great way to not only exercise my creativity, but also learn more about the natural world & the folklore that follows it. Thank you for being a part of this adventure, and I’m so looking forward to seeing where this journey takes us.

You can get a sneak peek of my very first illustration for it here, and be sure to check out my announcement post on my Instagram! I haven’t started preorders yet, so more to come very, very soon.

In other news, I will be a vendor at the Oddities & Curiosities Expo in Atlanta this year! I’ve never done such a large event before, which means I’ll be spending the next few months prepping a ton of new things so I’ll have enough inventory. If you’re in the area, stop on by and say hi February 11-12th! Tickets are on sale now at odditiesandcuriositiesexpo.com - and they’re cheaper if you get them in advance. There’s also a Facebook event you can follow to get all of the latest updates.

Aside from my expo in February, I will also be very busy with a pottery class I’m taking with my mom (it was her Christmas gift from me, since it’s something she’s been wanting to do) at our local studio. I know my ghost cauldrons & other pottery pieces are very popular, but I can only make a limited number of items during my 8-week class. Because of this, my pottery shop update in March will be for my Instagram subscribers ONLY. If you’re wanting to snag something, be sure to join as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on any important information!

Once the chaos of the first few months of 2023 die down, I’m hoping to having more time for regular shop updates while I work on my book. Stay tuned via my socials, dear friends!
